More than 35 years ago, the Auferoth family turned the adjacent pub into a cosy hotel and has been welcoming guests from all over the world ever since. As a family-run hotel, we are not an anonymous address, but are rooted in the city and know our way around. Lünen is beautiful! You will quickly notice this during your visit. In a central location in the centre of Lünen, only about 5 minutes on foot from the central railway station, we offer you the ideal location for your business trips or private stays in Lünen. In a few minutes you can walk along the shopping street, in the historical old town of Lünen or on the banks of the river Lippe, which meanders through the city. In the city centre you will also find numerous restaurants and shopping facilities.
All important places and companies in the city can be reached quickly and easily from our house. The federal roads B236 and B54 and the motorways A1 and A2 are only a few kilometres away. By train you can also reach Dortmund (approx. 15 min) and Münster quickly and comfortably.
The Way of St. James for pilgrims and hikers and the State Garden Show Route for cyclists pass directly by the hotel. The popular Roman-Lippe Route and the Route of Industrial Heritage are about 200 meters away and lead especially in spring and summer many cyclists to our hotel.
Free parking spaces are available in the hotel’s own parking areas. You can leave your bicycles in our locked and roofed bicycle garage.

A small sauna is available to our hotel guests on the 1st floor of the hotel. You can use it for only 8 € per person. Please reserve the sauna at least 30 minutes in advance at the reception. Additional towels and various pleasant infusions are available in the sauna room.
